Nestled in the serene landscapes of Lightcliffe, Yorkshire, my wood cabin is the heart of my artisanal creations. My journey into the world of handcrafted goods began in 2020, during a time of uncertainty and introspection. Seeking comfort and peace, I discovered the therapeutic art of candle-making—a small spark that grew into a passion and, eventually, a craft that brings me so much joy.

What began as a personal pursuit of tranquility soon blossomed into a small business, as the warmth and fragrance of my hand-poured soy wax candles touched the hearts of those around me. With encouragement from family and friends, I felt inspired to share this sense of calm and comfort more widely, and so my journey truly began.

Riva & Bea carries a name that is deeply personal and close to my heart. It was created in loving memory of two very special people I lost—my cousin Rebecca (Riva) and my auntie Brenda (Bea). Their lives continue to inspire me every day, and through my work I honour their memory with something that brings light, warmth, and reflection into others’ homes.

Every candle, soy botanical melt, reed diffuser, and handmade soap crafted in my cabin is made with patience, care, and intention. From carefully selecting the finest ingredients to hand-pouring each creation, my goal is always the same: to bring moments of serenity, joy, and reflection into your life.
